Anaïs, known by her stage name Naïss, was born in Bondy, in the 93 department. Her mother's roots are in Marie-Galantais and her father's in Benin. Her childhood was peppered with travel, notably to Guadeloupe where she spent most of her holidays. Although she has spent most of her life in Paris, she is very attached to the cultures of her origins.
From an early age, Naïss has been fascinated by art in all its forms: music, dance, martial arts and cinema. She has always had a strong desire for freedom. It was in the sixth form, at the age of 10-11, that she began writing her first rap lyrics to express her feelings about her personal experience and, in particular, her aversion to the injustice that surrounds her.
Influenced by hip-hop and its culture, Naïss took hip-hop dance lessons with Dorian and rap lessons with Moussa, who shared their knowledge and passion for the culture with her. She performed in her home town and the surrounding area in small competitions, developing her stage experience in the process.
Later, her meeting with rapper K.S.A at a writing workshop marked a turning point in her career. Since then, she has worked for the RPTG Le Label label, with K.S.A as her mentor.
Alongside her passion for music, Naïss is developing her entrepreneurial skills and continuing her studies to become a specialist educator.
After taking a break to concentrate on her personal life, Naïss made a remarkable comeback in 2020, sharing freestyles with hard-hitting flows. In 2023, she continued to work in the shadows, producing a multitude of singles and appearing as a guest at the Baton Rouge competition organised by theRPTG Label.

That same year, she took part in the Marie Galante Music Stars competition, winning the title winner with her song "Ka ou ochante kon sa".
