Jimmy RAMASSAMY

Jimmy Ramasamy is a Guadeloupean artist whose talent and passion for music have propelled him to the forefront of the West Indian music scene. He began taking part in a number of singing competitions at an early age. To perfect his art, he took singing lessons at the Centre des Arts in Pointe-à-Pitre, where he developed an unrivalled voice.

In 2000His career took a decisive turn when he was spotted by Jean-Michel Hiérso, who introduced him to the Martinican production company "WD". This meeting opened the doors to the music world, and Jimmy began to make a name for himself by taking part in various compilations.

Albums and hits

2008

His first solo album, released in 2008, featured the iconic track "Ou té dako", written by Jean Marc RAGALD. This track, along with "Lanmou Sincè", catapulted Jimmy to the forefront of the music scene with its captivating melodies and touching lyrics.

2010 

In 2010, Jimmy released his second solo album, featuring the hit songs "Plon d'Amour", "Amant" and "On Pièj". This album confirmed his success and helped him gain notoriety throughout the West Indies and beyond.

2013 

With his third album, Jimmy continues to charm his fans with tracks such as "Sans Réfléchir", "An Vin chèchèw" and "Sonné Mwen". The album was widely distributed and received an excellent response from the public and critics alike.

2015 

He released his fourth album, featuring the tracks "Mwen Ka Tracé" and "Adan Dé Bra". These songs, written by Jimmy himself, became unmissable hits.

Tours and Performances:

Jimmy Ramasamy is also known for his energetic and captivating live performances. In April 2016, he embarked on a tour of the West Indies, with memorable concerts in Martinique and Guadeloupe, including at the Negresco, H Club, and Villa Seraline, where he delighted audiences with his performances.
