KENYO BALY (SXM)

Kenyo Alexandre Baly was born on the island of Saint-Martin and discovered his passion for music at the age of 6. Fluent in English and French, Kenyo honed his skills through church performances before moving to Long Island, New York, at the age of 15, where he was recognised as the first black singer to win 'Best Male Soloist' in a national choir competition.

Appearing on television networks such as ABC, NBC, FOX5 and CNN, Kenyo auditioned for 'The Voice' and confirmed his talent. Returning to Sint Maarten in 2012, he won several local and international singing competitions, earning the title of Sint Maarten Groovy Soca Monarch in 2017 and 2018.

Kenyo's impact extends beyond music, as evidenced by his reggae cover "Starting All Over Again", which resonated around the world after Hurricane Irma. With over 100,000 views on YouTube, his hits such as "Who Yuh Fuh? and "Infront Ah Me" have cemented his status as a rising star.

A versatile artist, Kenyo's influence extends to the Caribbean, the United States and Europe. His social media presence, with over 17,000 followers on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, underlines his global appeal. Collaborating with Parkwood artist Chloe Bailey on a cover of Rihanna's 'Love on the Brain', he has further increased his recognition.

Preparing to release her EP in 2024, Kenyo's musical journey has been marked by unwavering devotion and an evolving sense of identity. With a diverse fan base across age groups and international borders, Kenyo's magnetic personality continues to captivate audiences around the world, offering promising opportunities for impactful brand partnerships.
