Lycinais JEAN

Lycinaïs Jean is a Caribbean singer/songwriter whose uncoded look contrasts with the strong sensibility of her music, so you could say she blows hot and cold. But when you listen to her, she's all sensitivity and passion. Introduced to the live scene in her teens as part of a band, she evolved first as a drummer, then as a singer and guitarist.

In 2011, everything changed when she decided, on a whim, to unveil a 1st video on the internet in which she sings accompanied by her guitar. She took a liking to it and, from share to share, the young artist built herself a growing community on the lookout for her every move.

In 2014, encouraged by this enthusiasm and supported by well-known artists, she released her first single, "Aimer", which was a big hit in the Caribbean, giving her the opportunity to perform as a support act.
She ended up headlining at legendary venues such as the Elysée Montmartre for her debut album "Lycinaïs Jean" in November 2017 and the Olympia.

There's no doubt about it, Lycinaïs is at her best in front of her audience, alone with her guitar and accompanied by her musicians.

After more than 200 concerts in less than 2 years, in 2020 she will release a 2nd album, "Mèche Reb'l", from which the first track, "Au Nom De l'Amour", will be taken, giving its name to the A.N.D.A. Tour.

At the end of the COVID period, Lycinaïs resumed playing concerts between mainland France and the West Indies.
In 2022, she continued to collaborate with no less than 5 featurings, released the single "Le Vide" and ended the year with the traditional dates at the Théâtre du Zèbre in Belleville with Lorenz, Nesly and Rachelle Allison. 2023 was already marked by the success, in just a few weeks, of the featuring with Léa Churros, "Mon pêché", which accumulated over 1.2 million views on Youtube. This was followed by a new EP and an international tour.
