Born in Sainte-Anne, the cradle of Guadeloupean culture, MISIE SADIK developed his musical identity from an early age. The Léwoz, the Vélo workshop where he took ka lessons, the drums (his father's favourite instrument)... he grew up and lived with music. A few years later, at secondary school, he developed a passion for rap, influenced by the greats of French rap, and began writing his own lyrics. He began to make a name for himself on the underground scene in 2005. A member of Kollectif Westside, he organises sound systems and accompanies musicians' projects with the Cask D'or studio. The artist is versatile, covering a wide range of subjects in his music. After launching into self-production with his album Pli lwen Ki zyéHe signed to Step Out, a label that brings together many artists from the West Indies. It was with this new label that his second album was released: A kè wouvè.
In 2018, Misié Sadik is back with an album that has quickly won unanimous acclaim: " AN SILANS ". An album full of surprises.
He then went on to play a series of concerts, starting with a 4500-strong crowd at the Palais des Sports du Gosier in 2018, followed by a sold-out show at the ATRIUM in Martinique. As usual, the artist's fans are out in force, and they're starting to get impatient! So Misié Sadik and his team headed off to Paris, and put on an exceptional show for the public who had flocked to the legendary venue "LA CIGALE". The CICGALE was also sold out that evening.
In May 2020 Misié Sadik will continue his live tour of France, from Toulouse to Bordeaux, via Montpellier, Paris, Archères, Tremblay... Misié Sadik and his team are ready to go and promise unforgettable concerts for fans of the artist and a great discovery for others.
