Lulled by Afro-American rhythms and voices that left their mark on this musically rich era: Earthwind and Fire,
Marvin GAYE, JamesBROWN...
NOSSA was first immersed in hip-hop, where he began by dancing, then composing and performing a few raps.
But his true musical identity will not emerge until 2009, when he will experiment with more Caribbean compositions, which will work out very well for him.
And so it was that he went on to embark on his first recording experience with a five-track maxi single entitled
"Tousel", a zouk-RN'B track, was a big hit with the public in the first few weeks of its release. But the best is yet to come with
other titles such as "Si toutefois", "Pousyè" and "Pourquoi".
NOSSA is a complete artist: singer-songwriter, beat maker. He's still got some great tracks up his sleeve in
in unexpected ways, to say the least.
His music is finally defined as NOSS'Music by the great saxophonist Camille Sopran'n, his current artistic godfather.
All with a bewitching timbre that leaves no one indifferent.
