Patrice Hulman

Patrice Hulman first came to public attention in 2008 with the track "Chabine", a duet with rapper Misié GG aka Fuckly. He is already a seasoned artist with solid experience in his field.

It was in the music club in his home town of Saint Louis de Marie-Galante that his passion for singing was born. While still at lycée, he became one of the founding members of the group Kwebee, which developed an original formula for a cappella singers.

As part of this group, Patrice worked assiduously on his vocal technique and harmonies, giving him the opportunity with Kwebee to support prestigious artists such as Kassav, Malavoi, Jean Jacques Goldman, Jacques Higelin and the Trio Esperanza, among others.

In 1994 and again in 2003, Paskal Vallot asked him to play the lead roles in his musicals. First in "Fatalita" l'Opéra Zouk, and then in "La rue Zabym", which for three seasons in a row broke all box office records in the French West Indies and Guyana. In July 2013, he was called upon again for Paskal Vallot's new musical "Hello Madras". Alongside his stage experience, Patrice has also established himself as a professional backing singer, both in the studio and live.

Patrice Hulman generously puts his heart and soul into his art, and doesn't hesitate to open up to exchanges with other Guadeloupean artists. He was featured on Jean Max Mirval's biguine album 'Proposition', and on gwoka guitarist Christian Laviso's 'Ti moun a lafrik'.
