Rachelle Allison is a Guadeloupean artist from Basse-Terre.
Passionate about music and singing from an early age, her musical influences range from Rap and Trap to Salsa, Kompa and Gwoka.
After a few years in France for her studies, Rachelle returned to Guadeloupe to pursue her passion, and now she's back in the spotlight.
Her latest EP, "Si J'étais Pire", released in 2021, marked a real turning point in her career, with the Guadeloupean artist tackling women in all their aspects and dealing with subjects more poignant than current affairs. An EP featuring collaborations with Lu City, Jok'Air, Mathieu White, Meryl, Bawbi Gucci and Chanel has racked up over 6 million streams to date, including 1 million streams and views just for her feat with Lu City on the track 'Kind Love', released on 25 March 2022. The track has also been in the Yacast charts since the clip was uploaded.
On 21 November 2021, the young Caribbean artist was honoured to perform live versions of her best songs when she opened for Were Vana at La Cigale in Paris.
Following the success of her latest EP, 'Si J'étais Pire', she played at some of the biggest festivals in the Caribbean, including the West Indies Green Festival in Guadeloupe and the Baccha Festival in Martinique, where she also showcased her new collaborations, including featurings with Admiral T and Nerka.
Rachelle Allison is back in the music news with her new single "Capitaine", a track she wrote and produced by Mufasa & Leveatz, in which she tells the story of a woman who falls completely under the spell of a man she meets at a party. Her girlfriends try to dissuade her, but to no avail.
Somewhere between an admission of weakness and an uncontrolled urge, Rachelle Allison returns with a music video directed by Jima Kanor in which all the red lights telling her to run away are on. Despite her attempts, the irresistible urge gets the better of her.
