Born to a Guadeloupean mother and a musician father of Cameroonian origin, Ronny has always been surrounded by music.
At a very young age he followed the AKIYO group and was introduced to GWOKA and MAS SENJAN. With his friend KRICHNOUN, they started hosting parties and it was during this period that he discovered local and national Reggae Dancehall artists such as Tonton David, Reggae Dub Forcek, Reggae Sonic, Nuttea, Freedom Fighters etc.
TIWONY felt inspired and created the group Influence Sound, which he founded with KRICHOUN, KINKY EDDY, KLARENS B and LILIANO, to name but a few.
He won the French Sound System Championships with the group Blackwarrel Sound, created with BLACK KIMBO, LYAÏ, BLS, TYPICAL FÉFÉ, KLARKI, BLS AND TWISPA.
He has collaborated with a number of artists and producers, released several albums and performed on many stages, enabling him to travel to the 4 corners of the world between the French West Indies and overseas territories, Europe, Africa and North America.
In his lyrics, he tackles topical issues in his native island and around the world, such as the human condition and Rastafarianism.
Thanks to his passion, his faith and the people he has met on his many travels, Tiwony is an accomplished artist who has just celebrated 25 years of musical career in Guadeloupe.
