Yvan Voice has devoted his life to music. His career began when he formed a funk band and enrolled at the Paris Conservatoire, where he studied classical guitar. After working in a number of combos and playing in genres as diverse as jazz, bossa nova, funk and zouk, the Parisian of Guadeloupean origin recorded his first studio track with the group Dissonance.
Success came with his first solo album, On ti filé with cult hits : Domila and Décidé'w.
Since then, the multi-instrumentalist has crossed paths with such talented artists as Salif Keita, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Bob Sinclar. He wrote a song with the latter Imbalaye and took part in the backing vocals on the CD Africanism III.
Despite an intense musical career, Yvan Voice has lost none of his militant verve. Since 2002, he has devoted himself to the rehabilitation of black scientists and inventors through the Archive association, which he chairs.

The 1st leg of the live tour is scheduled to take place at the legendary New Morning on 28 June 2025.
