Born in 1972 and 1973 respectively in Guadeloupe, Fabian & Jerry CHARBONNIER are originally from the island of Saint-Martin.
That's why, despite growing up in Guadeloupe, they were immersed in a multicultural melting pot from an early age.
Born into a family of musicians, they were brought up on the sounds of The Platters, Elvis Presley, Stevie Wonder and Bob Marley from an early age.
It was only much later that they discovered the grooves of Kompa and Zouk. Hence their very personal vision of 'Zouk Music'.
Their adventure began in 1994/95 with tracks such as "L'Océan" and "Yo Mèm", which have become classics and were considered UFOs on the Zouk planet at the time. Since then, they've forged a solid reputation as trailblazers, never hesitating to blend different influences into their music.
Their live line-up reflects their eclectic and dynamic discography.
Their music videos and extracts from their concerts can be seen on YouTube, and most of their music is available on most legal download platforms.
Their latest album, "20.1", will be followed by a second volume, "20.2", for a total of 20 tracks to mark their 20th anniversary of recording.
1994-2014. Their fans like to say that they haven't aged a day, even if they have lost a lot of their hair in the meantime 😉
The adventure continues with the latest volume, '20.2', which opens with the track 'Yo Mèm' that sent them into orbit on planet zouk in 1994. A host of previously unreleased tracks await you on this opus, including a closing tribute to Prince.
