Lazaro was immersed in music from the cradle.
His mother was a singer with the "Compania coral de tropicana", and his cousin a percussionist, so he was well surrounded when it came to music.
At the age of 8, he made his percussion debut thanks to the Moros y Cristianos association in Havana, whose aim was to introduce young children to music, dance and theatre.
The association enabled him to discover the stage two years later with the rumba group "Iroso obba".
At the age of 14, he enrolled at the Eduardo Garcia Delgado "EIA" school (escuela de instrutores de arte), where he spent two years before finally taking off for Spain to work.
In 2015, Lazaro decided to embark on a new adventure, leaving Spain for Guadeloupe to join his uncle.
He met a group of Cuban singers who invited him to join their group, Son de Corazon, as a singer and percussionist.
Thanks to the group's various performances, Lazaro has been noticed by local artists, with whom he shares stages.
In a relationship with the flautist from the group Maroon awmoni, she invited him to see one of their live concerts. He discovered a new musical trend that appealed to him. In early 2017, he was offered the opportunity to join the group.
He is currently a member of several musical groups, including one (TRIO CUBANO), where he befriended pianist Ruddy Francis and together they decided to create a single. Creating their first song and under Francis' musical production, they chose to innovate in the Zouk genre.
With a wealth of ideas and the unconditional support of Francis, Lazaro hopes to touch the hearts of his audience and bring something new to Caribbean music.
