SHAEENA, whose real name is Shayna Abenzoar, was born in the Paris region. This young artist of Guadeloupean-Congolese origin didn't get into music by chance, as her parents are themselves international artists (her mother a Zouk and kompa singer and her father a Congolese singer). Raised on musical rhythms, both by her mother and by her own experience, she was able to develop her musical ear.
At the age of 17, she began writing her first songs, drawing inspiration from the Troubadour and great voices such as Elie Lapointe and Gracia Delva.
In 2015, motivated by her entourage, she met 2 people: Wilson alias BBC, a talented composer who composed the 1st track "Reve'w". The second was Aina Quach (singer and vocal coach), a versatile artist who helped her realise her vocal potential.
In 2016, her first single "Reve'w" was released and featured on the "Zouk Session 2017" compilation.Supported by a public that believed in her, she followed up with "À Deux" in 2018 and "Toute à toi" in 2019 with the Raw Musik label. Shaeena decided to open up to her audience and tell her story with a touch of kompa.
In 2020, her fans will have the chance to discover her on the "Erogen Kompa VOL.5" compilation. We'll also have the chance to hear her collaborate with talented composer and guitarist Tamaryo Prod on the track 'Mon temps'.
To take her projects even further, she decided to work alongside Dj Tul, who is her producer.
